About us

Palmiye Wood Decoration is an Istanbul joinery company, and this site is about one part of our work: wooden interior doors. We make them for apartments, family houses, villas, offices and hotels, always to the measured size of the opening rather than to a standard leaf.

Wood is a material with character, so we like to start with a conversation about the room. Do you want the grain to show through a natural veneer, the solid feel of timber, or a painted surface in a chosen colour? Typical species are oak, walnut, ash and iroko, and other timbers can be sourced on request. Panel layouts range from quiet flush faces to moulded classic panels, glazed doors and wide double doors.

Our process has three stages and one team. First a site visit, where we measure walls, check how far they are from plumb and agree on the frame and architrave detail. Then manufacture in our workshop, where leaves, frames and trims are machined and finished together so that colours match. Finally installation, carried out by our own fitters, who also adjust hinges, locks and stops before handing over.

For larger projects we work from a door list and drawings, and we can make a sample door before the full order. Doors are also prepared for export with protective packing. Tell us about your rooms, your preferred wood and the number of doors, and we will prepare an offer.
